Attention Sprint Team.
Just a heads up, SCF is organising a Level 1 Sprint Technical Coaching Course on the 27th , 28th and 31st Of May. It will Be On a Wednesday, thurday and Sunday. Those who are keen to join, do not worry, it will not affect your curriculum hours. It'll be on a 730pm - 930pm basis on weds and thurs and lastly, 9am - 12pm on Sunday. This is one course that will be conducted by the National Coach himself.
What You'll Get to benefit from the course.
-A Valid First Aid Cert From A recognised oragnisation
-A Singapore Sports Council NCAP Theory Level 1.
-to be able to learn the right aspects of water coaching & to improve the standard of the upcoming year1s.
-the experience acquired can be applied to everyday water training, not only for yourself but also to teach the team, including your seniors.
-Be able to learn how to train effectively in Sprint Kayaking to obtain optimum performance.
- As a certified first aider, you can be there to aid injuries that may happen anytime during training. ( let's hope not )
Money Matters.
The Course will be 80 bucks for Affliliates. But the fee will most likely be subsidised half by the school which have been very supportive of our sport.
I strongly urge the year 2s to sign up for this course as it will be an extra benefit , not only for yourself, but also for the team on an overall. Interested particpants please let me know asap, before the closing date 20th May. Of course, inform me earlier so as to avoid disappointment, as late entries might be voided. I must say this is one opportunity for improving and learning. So i hope to see people making their mind up, and obtain some early response!
On a side note, your NJCC and MR500 Money is processing. So dont worry, i'll get the money matters done asap and return the money to you guys.
Last but not least , as what was briefed yesterday, that i'll select people randomly to help out in decorating with the booth for the CCA fair, from both polo and sprint , there'll be changes made to it. Instead, i need people who have lessons who start @ 10am or later on 6th of May, Wed.
This is because, we need to ,
Transport Boats/Paddles from Macritchie over ( for the sprint side)
To Decorate the booth with trophies and pictures,
Set up the table
Provide a labtop showing Canoe Polo Videos/ Sprint Videos and Pictures
Print brochures for Camp
etc.
We cannot afford to do all these last minute, thats why i'll need the help of you guys.
Anything to add on to the to-do-list for the booth, will be further discussed and updated again.
The venue of the booth will be.... i'm not sure. I'll let you guys know again.
