Attention to all participants of RUKR, here are pointers in regards to preperation for the race.
1) Remember to load up on carbohydrates (rice, pasta, bread). However, please do not take heaty food (fried stuff, chilli) too much as it will prevent your body from staying in top state.
2) Do rest well for the next few days and let your body recover fully from all the exercises!
3) On the race day itself, do hydrate yourself sufficiently 1 hour before the race. Bring LOTS of bananas and/or bread as they are one of the best fast carbohydrates.
4) For those who have not bought their water bags, Please do so. especially juniors rowing T boats, as the journey will be longer, you all will need water to hydrate yourself.
5) Those with sunglasses and/or hats, do wear it as rowing 22km in the sun will be painful for the eyes.
